Recipients of personal data
In the course of our business activities, we work with various external parties. In some cases, this also requires the transmission of personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the disclosure. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Information, correction and deletion
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time about this and about any further questions on the subject of personal data.

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time about this. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
If SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to promotional emails
We hereby object to the use of contact details published in the context of the legal imprint obligation for sending promotional and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam emails.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our websites use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do no harm to your end device. They are stored on your end device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are deleted automatically after your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically. Cookies can originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for handling payment services). Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyze user behavior or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies in order to provide its services in a technically error-free and optimized manner. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
If further cookies and services are used on this website, you can find this in this privacy policy.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Inquiries by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you send to us via contact requests remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Special features of this website
Cloudflare (delivery and protection of the site)
Our website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date, time, page accessed, browser) in order to deliver the site quickly and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use any third-party statistics or advertising trackers.
Partner links (affiliate links)
Our site contains links to booking partners marked with "Ad" or "partner link" and an asterisk (*). You only leave our site when you click on such a link; the partner may then set cookies in order to attribute the referral. The respective partner is responsible for this; its privacy policy applies. For some partners (e.g. Localrent, Airalo, Kiwitaxi, Aviasales) the click runs via the partner network Travelpayouts (redirect via tpo.li), for others via CHECK24 (a.check24.net); these count the click for billing purposes. To check billing, we also count ourselves, anonymously, how often provider links are clicked (provider, section, page, language, date) – without cookies, without IP addresses and without data that identifies you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Flight prices in the trip planner
To display prices, our server queries Travelpayouts (Aviasales) only for departure airport, destination airport and travel dates – without your IP address or any other data about you. Only when you click on the price do you reach Aviasales (partner link).
Fonts
The fonts (Source Serif 4, Figtree and, for Russian pages, Golos Text) are hosted on our own server. When the page is loaded, no connections to Google or other font providers are established.
Language and browser storage
When you open the home page, we automatically redirect you to your language. For this, Cloudflare evaluates your browser's language setting and the approximate country of your connection; nothing is stored in the process. If you choose a language yourself (DE/EN/RU/PL), your browser stores the cookie "sprache" (only the language code, 12 months) so that we do not redirect you again. For the current session, your browser also remembers individual settings (e.g. menu view). Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (technically necessary or requested by you) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Web app / offline: So that pages also work without internet, your browser stores pages, images and fonts of this website that you have opened on your device (service worker, cache). This data stays on your device and is not sent to us; you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.
Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): To see which pages are read, we use the visitor statistics of our host Cloudflare. It works without cookies, without fingerprinting and without storing IP addresses; we only see aggregated figures (e.g. page views, country, device type). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an improved website).
Airport suggestion in the trip planner: To suggest the nearest departure airport to you, Cloudflare determines the approximate location (city/region, no exact address) from your connection. This information is only returned to your browser, not stored and not passed on. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Chinkali radar (restaurants near you): We use the same approximate location to sort Georgian restaurants by distance. If you voluntarily enter your postcode, the distance is calculated only in your browser (from the first three digits); the postcode is neither transmitted to us nor stored. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact via WhatsApp and social media
The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp only after you click; the message then runs via WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), and their privacy policy applies. The same applies to our links to Instagram, Facebook (Meta) and TikTok. Nothing is loaded or stored on our website itself in the process.
Travel AI (chat)
If you use the Travel AI (once it is activated), we send the questions you enter and the chat history so far to Anthropic PBC (USA) so that the AI "Claude" can create a response. We do not transmit any names or account data; your IP address is used only briefly in working memory for abuse protection. The chat history is stored in your browser only for the current session. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Please do not enter any personal data in the chat.
